GLOVIS Alabama supports not only HMMA’s (Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama) production logistics in the field of Consolidation Center, Transportation between GLOVIS Alabama and HMMA and its parts suppliers, Line Feeding inside HMMA but also GLOVIS Alabama operates outside Consolidation Center for local suppliers in the Montgomery area.
Furthermore, GLOVIS Alabama provides 3PL distribution services (Consolidation Center warehousing service, Transportation Services) to BIG 3 Automakers in Detroit, Michigan. Based on those Know-how, GLOVIS Alabama explores new business opportunities throughout the United States.

Job Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring professional development of employees in alignment with the goals of the organization, succession planning, improving company culture through employee engagement, and overseeing all aspects of performance management.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Oversee performance management process to ensure effectiveness and relevance in alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct needs-assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance
- Oversee and manage Attendance Incentive Program and analyze effectiveness.
- Provide efficient and cost-effective solutions to executive leadership.
- Develop material and/or facilitate training programs that enable employees to obtain the knowledge needed to optimally execute their duties.
- Collect and analyze data for the purpose of completing HR ad-hoc and standard reports for executive leadership.
- Research employee compensation methods based on employees’ roles in the company.
- Determine employee pay grades, and whether employees are exempt or nonexempt, or whether they are salaried or hourly.
- Conduct routine audit of job description of all positions to ensure accurate representation of position.
- Oversee full recruitment process for non-production employees.
- Develop and implement methods to decrease turnover and recruit talent by staying current on local total rewards trends.
Job Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
- 7 years experience in Human Resources Management
- 2 years experience in Human Resources Management/Supervisory Role
- Intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
Preferred:
- Masters Degree
- 10 years experience in Human Resources
- 3 years experience in Human Resources Management/Supervisory Role
- SHRM-SCP / SPHR Certification
- Intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
Equipment:
- Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
