Part-Time Public Safety Officer Armed Security for ISU Idaho Falls. Starting wage is $16 per hour, working 19.5 hours per week with a varying day-shift schedule. This position does not include State benefits.
The Public Safety Officer is responsible for providing a safe environment for persons on ISU property. The successful candidate will assist in directing guests on property. Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of ISU parking lot. Enforce parking regulations and issue citations when needed. To be considered, candidates must be able to legally possess a firearm, have valid driver's license in the State of Idaho, and must be able to work legally in the United States. Basic computer knowledge for Incident Reports, Time Entry, and email is also required. Previous Security or Law Enforcement experience preferred. Public Safety will provide uniforms, firearm, and equipment required for the position.
