Service Manager
Summary: The Service Manager role is pivotal within our organization, requiring a dynamic individual to drive commercial and industrial business growth. This position involves cultivating new client relationships, nurturing existing ones, and ensuring seamless service delivery. Our ideal candidate will excel in sales, client management, and team coordination while meeting and surpassing set targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, assist, and provide technical support and guidance to HVAC service technicians, providing knowledge and proper installation procedures
- Coordinate service dispatching based on urgency and customer needs.
- Manage HVAC replacement and retrofit projects, including estimation and project oversight.
- Weekly review maintenance inspections scheduled due with dispatcher and assign team to perform maintenance inspections
- Promote customized HVAC preventative maintenance service agreements, equipment repairs, replacements, and other services to both new and current clients
- Develop new client relationships through various networking strategies.
- Cultivate rapport with key decision-makers and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate internally to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Prepare and present proposals aligning with client requirements.
- Conduct equipment surveys and job site assessments.
- Oversee service equipment replacements to ensure client satisfaction.
- Source components and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective solutions.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and provide regular sales reports.
- Contribute to business development strategies as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 3 years of self-generating sales experience, preferably in HVAC or construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internet research.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Dedication to safety protocols and attention to detail.
- Experience in personnel management preferred.
