Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting or equivalent hospital healthcare staffing and scheduling
Direct patient care experience
Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Ability to cope with stressful situations
Experience with office equipment, computers and Microsoft Office
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
BLS
Desired Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program
Desired Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Current Alabama LPN licensure
Responsibilities
Coordinates activities of Safety Companions for observation patients with the staff and House Supervisors to ensure patient/employee safety. Assists in the scheduling of Safety Companion as needed. Provides coaching and training. Rounds on Safety Companions to relieve and/or assist.
