About the Role:
We are seeking two intermediate-level Desktop Support Specialists to join our Office team.
These on-site roles will provide daily technical support and contribute to ongoing IT operations and improvement projects.
The ideal candidates will be proactive, customer-oriented professionals with strong Microsoft 365 experience and a willingness to support both basic desktop needs and mid-level technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide on-site desktop support for users, including the office staff and executive leadership.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, etc.).
- Respond to technical tickets, prioritize issues, and resolve or escalate as necessary.
- Configure and image new laptops and workstations.
- Assist users in connecting mobile devices (iOS/Android) to Wi-Fi, printers, and email systems.
- Tag and log hardware (laptops, phones, tablets, etc.) into inventory tracking systems (e.g., Excel).
- Track and manage basic inventory tasks as needed.
Microsoft 365 & Tools Support
- Provide user support for the Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Support the transition from local file servers to SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Assist in small to mid-level Microsoft 365-related projects (e.g., user training, data migration).
- Occasionally provide basic A/V or conference room setup assistance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in desktop support or help desk environments (ideally 4–7 years).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (O365), Windows 10/11, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
- Hands-on experience imaging laptops, managing hardware setups, and resolving software issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across support and project tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of networking and willingness to assist on occasional networking tasks.
