A large public safety company is seeking an additional Fleet Coordinator to join the team due to growth. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful deployment of fleet systems. The coordinator will be responsible for managing projects from a resource standpoint, ensuring all logistical and technical aspects are in place. This includes coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, managing timelines, ensuring hardware is available, and product deployments are successful.
Must-Have Skillsets:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning, coordination, and scheduling
- Experience being a primary coordination liaison between internal and external resources and a company’s customers.
- Great communication skills for interacting with CIO’s, police chiefs, and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving and puzzle-piecing skills to manage project complexities.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Applications, Slack, and QUIP.
- Background in criminal justice or public safety.
- Familiarity with fleet management systems and processes.
- Experience in truck dispatching or similar scheduling roles
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage projects or specific tasks related to multiple product deployments
Draft, edit, and prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials using word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Organize and implement administrative systems and procedures, performing necessary support duties.
Prepare and maintain records, review complex documents and reports to ensure compliance, and notify supervisors of unusual situations.
Multitask and prioritize shifting priorities quickly.
Deal with external vendors and manage multi-use systems.
