The opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Vendor Management Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team based in our Plymouth, MN office. This position is part of the Procurement / Vendor management team with primary responsibilities focused contract management from RFX to contract execution and award. The position will assist in the management of the Third-Party Risk Management process, with demonstrated knowledge of contract management and spend analytics. Some of the Vendor Management Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage procurement intake requisition requests from RFP to contract award
- Negotiates favorable terms and conditions on vendor contracts by performing a detailed review, including engaging corporate legal as needed.
- Engages with various company internal stakeholders and external vendors to execute contracts and misc agreements.
- Obtains required approvals and executes per the department policies and procedures.
- Works in various procurement tools and systems to store and maintain procurement data
- Performs vendor source pricing analysis by performing market research.
- Reports and tracks procurement metrics. Pulls reports from various systems and creates dashboard reporting.
- Demonstrates knowledge of spend analytics.
- Collects and processes data and provides managers with all necessary company management data and information.
- Processes Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) intake requests by working with internal stakeholders, vendors and the TPRM processing team.
The expertise you bring
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of experience; prior experience in third party risk management, vendor management or procurement required
- Must have general knowledge of the laws and regulations governing vendor management and a basic understanding of contract management. Demonstrated understanding of the RFx Process.
- Knowledge and basic understanding of contract management repository platforms.
Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience, and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires, but your recruiter will share more specific compensation information with you during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $61,000 – $86,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Hoboken, NJ; and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $77,000 -$89,000. In addition to base salary, full time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include but not limited to:
