Summary/Objective:
The role focuses on managing grants, invoicing funders, ensuring accurate income coding, and maintaining communication with funders to ensure public funds are used responsibly.
Essential Functions:
- Grants Management: Ensure all grant files are current and track reporting and deliverables.
- Invoicing: Invoice funders and follow up on payments.
- Income Coding: Properly code incoming funds.
- Funder Communications: Act as a secondary contact for funders, assisting with active grant management.
- Funding Tracking & Award Close Out: Track grant spending and ensure grants close out on time.
Other Job Functions:
- Collaborate with the finance team and other departments.
- Participate in special projects and IYS events.
- Follow organizational policies and procedures.
Competencies:
- Understanding of the organization’s mission and goals.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required).
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience in office environments and data management.
Work Environment:
- Professional office setting with occasional offsite or event work.

Position Details:
- Part-time: 20 hours/week, with flexibility for evening/weekend work as needed.
- Salary: $17-19/hr depending on experience.
- Reports to: Finance Director.
