Key Responsibilities
- Conduct first article inspections and maintain accurate records
- Measure parts and report findings to engineering teams
- Select appropriate measurement methods and create work instructions
- Verify tool changes and process dimensions
- Perform capability studies and gauge repeatability analysis
- Provide statistical reports on process control and measurement accuracy
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
- Manage scheduling and priorities based on project needs
Requirements
- Experience in metrology and mechanical inspection tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with CMM programming and operation
- Knowledge of SPC, GD&T, and MSA methods
