Position Description: At Iron Mountain Hot Springs, we have one goal, to make people smile. To achieve that mission, we’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Marketing & Sales Manager to help us promote our experiences, re-fine our brands, and drive traffic/revenue.
The Marketing Manager will be a key leader under the VP of Marketing and IMHS General manager, executing the strategic plan and managing the multi-channel marketing initiatives that elevate our brand presence, engage target audiences, and ultimately drive business growth. This position will collaborate closely with the in-house marketing team, various contractors and agencies and will oversee the production of high-impact content including web copy, blog posts, social posts, videos, advertisements, and collateral that resonates with our desired demographics.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of strategic IMHS marketing plan, working closely with leadership, operational teams, and partners to implement marketing strategies and campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive attendance & ticket sales.
- Manage and empower the internal marketing team and various marketing contractors.
- Conduct market research to keep abreast of trends and competitive landscape.
- Identify short-term and long-term budget and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget and promotional calendar. Implement trade agreements when appropriate.
· Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team.
- Oversee email marketing, events, social media, website/webstore content, radio, influencer program, charitable partnerships, sponsorships, donation requests, and capital project launches.
- Oversee organic social media and digital paid ads, search and display and maintain budget spend.
· Oversee all graphic design including brochures, park maps, event signage and all property signage. Ensure brochure distribution.
· Oversee all public relations including editorials, blogs, and familiarization tours.
- Hold regular meetings with contractors, agency partners and team members to resolve challenges and support overall team structure.
- Develop marketing reports and performance summaries to be shared with senior leadership and investment team.
- Represent Iron Mountain Hot Springs externally and within the community, identifying valuable partnerships and building strategic relationships.
Skills & Experience:
· Proficient in programs like Salesforce, Passport, Siriusware, Sprout Social, Survey Monkey, WordPress, Canva, and Google Analytics.
· Proficient Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
· Highly knowledgeable skills in project management, tourism & hospitality.
· Very strong, verbal and written communication skills.
· 8 years in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years managing teams.

Compensation:
This role pays $70,000.00-$80,000.00 annual salary based on experience.
Company profit sharing bonus based on company profitability & individual performance. With a potential bonus, total compensation is between $84,000 - $96,000 annually.
