ITC Manufacturing is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their corporate team in Phoenix Arizona. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for procurement of all goods and services for the company, including managing the purchase order process, work orders follow up, conducting bidding processes, and maintaining min/max levels of stock inventory.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing daily procurement for the company including purchasing raw materials, equipment, supplies, and contract services necessary to maintain production levels and to maintain the buildings and operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain purchasing policies and procedures and ensure that all purchases adhere to that policy.
- Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales. Choosing and/or recommending the suppliers for the company and maintaining relationships.
- Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
- Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
- Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids. Preparing invitation-of-bid forms and overseeing entire bid process.
- Represent company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
- Managing any Service Agreements that may be in place and managing any Master Agreements between the suppliers and the company.
- Negotiate, maintain and review vendor price lists on a regular basis.
- Control department and company budgets. Ensure best use of budgets is made and minimize overstock of supplies.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies, services and equipment and track the status of any orders. Manage any procurement activities including RFP’s (Request For Proposals).
- Resolve all issues related to non-supply, under orders, over orders and damaged goods, along with pricing and quality issues.
- Liaison with other departments, particularly the accounting, manufacturing and sales departments as it relates to the procurement of goods and services and the parts room coordinators as it relates to part inventory and receiving of parts and supplies.
- Produce and maintain reports related to procurement.
- Oversee all purchasing related files.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
10 years related purchasing experience.
Experience performing in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, time-sensitive environment.
Proven track record of strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision daily.
Manufacturing, project management and lean management experience preferred.
