This position will be in person at our Clear Lake office located at- 16875 Diana Lane Houston, TX 77058 Monday-Friday.
What You Will Do-
Employee Relations-
- Address employee concerns, complaints, and conflicts in a timely & professional manner.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management to maintain positive working relationships.
- Conduct investigations to employee issues and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary.
Performance Management-
- Manages the employee review process to evaluate employee performance & identify development needs.
- Provide feedback & coaching to employees to improve performance
- Develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) as needed to support employee development and enhance performance.
- Lead engaging and impactful training sessions for both managers and employees, empowering teams with the skills and knowledge to thrive and excel.
Compliance & Legal-
- Stay updated on relevant labor laws and regulations, including safety standards specific to the construction industry.
- Keep
- Monitor compliance with employment laws & policies, addressing any potential issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate employee records & generate reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover rate, absenteeism, and workforce demographics.
What You Bring To The Table-
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Human Resources, Business, etc.) required.
- 4 years in Human Resources required, HR experience in construction is a plus!
- Strong knowledge of employment laws & regulations.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in HR software & systems for data management.
