Position Purpose This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional to manage the complete process of JCB’s recently announced Monster Jam Program including all aspects of customer entertainment.  Manages operational and administrative functions to ensure event is delivered efficiently. Ensures event is in line with company's overall marketing strategy and attracts target audience. The successful candidate will be supporting Monster Jam events for JCB across the country.   Nature & Scope Reports to the VP of Marketing   Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities Accountability for event and marketing planning and delivery for the program Deliver and organize in a smooth and controlled manner, utilizing a project management process Effective onsite management and control during set up, delivery and breakdown Regularly monitor feedback relating to Monster Jam to take appropriate actions to continuously improve the quality of the event Responsibility for all aspects of live event delivery including venue, AV, speakers/trainer’s liaison, delegate management, exhibitor management, communications, catering, signage, technical delivery support etc. Management of the customer experience including measuring effectively both customer satisfaction levels and impact of the program Provide support and assistance across JCB Marketing, with an expectation of flexibility in understanding responsibilities to support the needs of the business 60% - 70% travel   Minimum Qualifications BA in Marketing or similar 2 years marketing or event planning experience in the industry or similar At least 2 years of experience in events delivery in a B2B context Must pass any drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicable   Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies Strong relationship management skills Solid interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listening Strong process understanding in product and sales development Ability to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust Ability to motivate others and drive for results Strong oral and written communication skills Attention to detail, creative, innovative, customer-focused, problem solver Ability to self-manage and prioritize workload Effective project management skills Ability to understand and analyze business requirements and convert them into marketing specifications and solutions   Physical Requirements:   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
