Position Summary – VP, Charter Sales and Operation Optimization: The Vice President will be responsible for driving sales success through increasing the number of clients and turning those clients into long-term engaged customers. The focus will be on creating an operations department that continuously finds efficiency gains through bold and innovative solutions to increase crew availability and fleet optimization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of aircraft and chartering processes
- Meet and exceed sales and financial targets and other assigned Key Performance indicators
- Develop a Quote inventory management system with KPI’s: leads that are turned into trips
- Cultivate a strong network of contacts within and outside the organization
- Drive an environment for managing inbound leads and generating external prospects, while assisting clients with product selection and strategy.
- Develop Closers: Overcome obstacles/objections and leads our clients to the right solution.
- Create an engaged client experience from the first phone call to post-flight follow-up. Exceed their expectations in travel logistics and communication.
- Develop and manage a flight operations systems to continuously gain fleet and crew efficiency while optimizing the fleet.
- Document and maintain compliance with contractual obligations to all clients
- Proactively resolve client issues.
- Maintains company, industry and competitive knowledge and awareness
- Drive innovation processes for continuous improvement and problem solving.

Essential Functions:
- Selling, booking, scheduling, and coordinating trips on private aircraft
- Ensure consistent, high quality client experience (Lift Every Moment)
- Handle inbound inquiries for wholesale and retail client charter requests
- Participate in business development, promotions, events, networking and client experience
- Prepare personalized quotes, sales documents, and client agreements
- Focus on and follow up on inquiries
- Communicate any operational issues, as appropriate, to clients and crew
- Document and maintain compliance with contractual obligations to all clients
- Receive and provide accurate quotes for charter requests by clients and/or other operators or brokers.
- Proactively resolve client issues.
- On-call, after hours and weekend availability
- Assist in crew resource utilization.
- Monitor weather and airport conditions daily to ensure operations can be accomplished safely and without unexpected interruption.
- Maintain awareness of aircraft locations and assist with engagement of resources remotely.
- Utilize computer systems and programs to perform job duties to include but not limited to: Avianis, Flight Aware, Flight Docs and Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in Private Jet Chartering
- Proven track record in charter sales
- Comfortable with a high client volume
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work with personnel from all organizational levels
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FAA regulations CFR 14 FAR 61, 91 and 135
- Experience with Avianis software
- 10 years’ experience in the travel industry
- Experience in Quality and Safety Management Systems
- Experience with Rockefeller Habits and/or Baldrige Performance Excellence Program
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, Change Management
Knowledge:
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
