The Controls Engineer will be primarily responsible for the design and programming of our Siemens & Allen Bradley control systems and maintaining close working relationships with our vendors and customer base in the Americas. Position is based out of the Chanhassen, MN office and requires up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities
- Design of instrument and control system from concept to start-up including SCADA integration, panel design & programming.
- Working in conjunction with consulting engineering firms, distributors & end users to meet specifications while integrating instrumentation and control into the overall project.
- Development, programming, and integration of PLC systems with Allen-Bradley and Siemens controls as well as graphic development in Maple Systems.
- Use of AutoCAD software for control panel design and submittal preparation.
- Design and selection of instrumentation for level, flow, and pressure measurement.

Job Details
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
- 3 years working experience in the design of instrumentation and control systems.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling software. Solid Edge etc.
- Previous exposure to instrumentation for level, flow, and pressure measurement.
Preferences
- Education or experience emphasis in industrial control systems.
- Experience programming in Allen Bradley and Siemens environments.
- Experience in a customer facing role.
