Local accounting firm is seeking an experienced tax professional.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of complicated tax returns (S-corp, C-corp, Partnership, Individual, Estate, Trust, Gift, etc…) with minimal supervision.
- Prepare or review payroll and sales/use tax returns, monthly or quarterly.
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.
- Participate with more experienced personnel in coordinating large client. engagements, identification of problems, tax law and computer model
- Maintain quality client relationships.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Have CPA or be CPA eligible
- Knowledge of and have ability to research Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulations
- Knowledge of basic of software packages. Experience with UltraTax & Quickbooks a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills in working with staff and clients
