About the Role
The ASPCA's Recovery & Rehabilitation Center in Pawling, NY is seeking a highly skilled Animal Welfare Professional to oversee the daily operations of the Care & Enrichment team. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for animal welfare.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing protocols for daily animal care and enrichment, ensuring seamless communication between teams, and maintaining accurate records of compliance activities.
You will lead a dynamic team of Care & Enrichment Technicians, providing regular trainings, coaching, and feedback to ensure they are proficient in protocols and able to provide high-quality care to animals.
In addition, you will collaborate with behavior and veterinary team members to ensure open and ample communication, excellent care, and close monitoring of every animal in the shelter.
This is a remote position until the facility is ready for occupancy in May 2025, after which it will be an in-person position based in Pawling, NY.
