What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Creative Services position at Juliska?
The Director of Creative Services will be responsible for designing and executing creative strategies to deliver on the best end use content development for our Seasonal Stories and product launches. They will be the head of an in-house creative team, developing and mentoring a staff of four and several freelancers and vendors. They are both a strategic thinker and a strong creative, utilizing the latest industry trends to manage numerous projects and people simultaneously. This person is an innovative visionary who is passionate about brand, storytelling, and team building. They are highly organized, inspired, and artistic, comfortable managing everything from timelines and budgets to photoshoots and creative teams. This position is based in the Charleston Headquarters and oversees both Juliska and Capucine de Wulf brands.

Storytelling & Engagement:
- Set creative strategy for the brand in collaboration with the VP of Marketing and Ecommerce, VP of Design and Merchandising and Chief Creative Officer.
- Partner with marketing and ecommerce peers on strategy and idea generation.
- Execute company creative action plans and content creation for numerous marketing platforms including catalog, web and e-mail, blog and video, social media, user generated content, and influencer marketing.
- Manage creative calendar that plans all asset requirements retrieved from your internal customers and executing through your team.
- Build world-class catalogs and lookbooks from product merchandising, creative conception of images and editorial content, to photo shoot direction and management.
- Create and manage budgets for direct and corporate creative services with profit and loss responsibility for creative services budget.
Leading & Collaborating:
- Manage, develop, and grow the creative services team to support the needs of marketing, sales and ecommerce and maintain flexibility to respond to a wide range of audience requirements.
- Build collaborative and productive framework for cross-functional communication with all key internal customers including Marketing, Retail Sales, Wholesale Sales, and Ecommerce leaders.
- Continually researching new solutions for content creation that can create efficiencies without compromising the result.

- Experience managing department budgets with P&L responsibilities.
What we’re looking for:
- 8 years’ experience in creative services leadership with a luxury/discerning brand
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing with experience in graphic arts.
- Ability to use insights and data to inform creative concepts.
- Ability to translate brand’s goals into creative concepts, ideas, and strategy.
