Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and repair of pipelines, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy equipment and a strong understanding of pipeline construction processes.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of pipelines including water, sewer, and stormwater systems.
- Operate heavy equipment such as front loader trucks, bulldozers, backhoes, forklifts, and loaders to assist in excavation and installation tasks.
- Utilize pipe lasers for precise alignment and grading of pipeline installations.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed to secure pipeline structures.
- Dig trenches for pipeline placement while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pipeline installation or related construction fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, and front loader trucks.
- Familiarity with concrete finishing techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to pipeline layouts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license may be required based on job site locations.
