We are seeking strategic, growth-oriented candidates who are both team and member driven, for the position of Director of Consumer Lending. This role is responsible for the leadership and management of the Consumer Lending Department, and for driving loan production volume and meeting targeted goals.
Key Job Functions:
- Strategically analyzes and evaluates loan portfolios and identifies areas to maximize loan opportunities.
- Provide supervisory leadership, mentors, and cross-trains staff.
- The ability to think strategically, analytically, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Engage with vendors, members and employees at all levels of the credit union.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Eight to ten years of similar or related experience.
- Minimum of five years of management and leadership experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of key aspects of loan originations and servicing, consumer and home equity lending and collections regulations.
