Kent County Parks/Kaufman Golf Course is excited to announce that we are now hiring individuals ages 16 years and older. This position will specifically reside at Kaufman Golf Course – Grounds Maintenance. If you are interested in working in the Kaufman Clubhouse or one of our other parks, please apply through the general Seasonal Park Worker posting.
Successful candidates will work with Kaufman's ground crew and assist with the care, cleaning and general maintenance of the golf course.
Duties will include caring for golf course grounds and facilities, and the operation of golf carts.
Will perform other duties as assigned.
Note: M-F work will be paid at $13.50 per hour. Saturday-Sunday work will be paid at $14.50 per hour. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Candidates must be 16 years of age. Basic math skills as well as the ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety information is required.
Exceptional customer service, work ethic and communication skills along with the ability to interact positively with employees, park patrons and members of the general public from a wide range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds are required.
Must possess valid Michigan driver's license.
Fluency in a second language is beneficial.
