Description
KerberRose is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with the maintenance of workstations and peripheral devices. Collaborating with a small, dedicated IT team, you will ensure the seamless operation of IT systems across the organization. Key responsibilities include managing hardware configuration, facilitating software access, and escalating complex issues when necessary - all while delivering exceptional customer service. Periodic travel to our 13 office location is required to support employees across our network. This is a hybrid role requiring work on location in offices, but with the ability for remote work after the training period. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral device issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, and peripherals, ensuring proper functionality.
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Closely collaborate with Cloud provider(s)
- Collaborate with other departments to assess and address their IT needs.
- Monitor system performance and respond when disruptions occur.
- Positive communication skills in both oral and written format.
- Monitor and maintain IT inventory, ensuring devices are updated, replaced, or repaired as needed.
- Participate in and support an IT Strategic Plan
- Assist other IT team members as needed
- Monitors changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the organization can gain a competitive advantage
- Provide recommendations on software and hardware updates
- Works to increase user satisfaction
- Assesses need for new equipment and software
- Represent KerberRose within the general community
- Uses Information Systems to their full capability
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Technology or commensurate experience providing workstation and network support.
- Experience in Windows 10 and 11, working knowledge of general PC hardware and network infrastructure.
