Based in Panama City, FL, KingAire is growing rapidly, and we're looking for a driven Canvassing Manager to help lead and expand our door-knocking team, while also actively participating in canvassing efforts themselves.
Position Overview:
The Canvassing Manager will be responsible for managing, assisting, and growing a high-performing door-to-door canvassing team. This position requires a hands-on leader who will actively engage in door-knocking while providing ongoing coaching, support, and guidance to the team. The goal is to generate leads for our backup power and electrical services by educating homeowners and businesses on our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage a Canvassing Team: Supervise and guide a team of door-to-door canvassing agents, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and meeting performance goals.
- Mentorship and Development: Assist in the development of team members through regular coaching and feedback to help improve canvassing results and effectiveness.
- Recruitment and Expansion: Support the growth of the team by recruiting new canvassing agents, as well as helping onboard and train them to ensure success.
- Active Canvassing: Lead by example by engaging in door-to-door canvassing to generate leads for our backup power and electrical services.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and assess individual and team performance, ensuring goals are being met, and report updates to management.
- Customer Engagement: Interact with homeowners and business owners to generate interest in KingAire’s electrical services, educate them on the benefits of backup power systems, and schedule appointments for further consultations.
- Motivating the Team: Foster a positive, high-energy atmosphere where the team is driven to succeed and meet company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in door-to-door canvassing, sales, or marketing, preferably within the electrical services or home services industries.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a passion for coaching and developing others.
- Willingness to actively participate in door-to-door canvassing and lead the team by example.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage potential customers and motivate team members.
- Ability to effectively manage time and handle multiple responsibilities, balancing team oversight with personal canvassing duties.
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with a focus on meeting and exceeding goals.
- Knowledge of backup power or electrical services is a plus, but not required.
