This position will be based on-site in Wendell, NC, with a standard Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
About the Role
KIOTI Tractor is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team on-site in Wendell, NC.
The HR Administrator performs professional and administrative work in coordinating human resources functions, including temporary recruitment, payroll, and other administrative tasks in support of the Human Resources Department.
- Process and administer payroll for the company via ADP services.
- Serve as secondary Payroll Administrator when the Payroll Specialist is out of office.
- Assist with reports related to payroll, taxes, compensation, commissions, etc.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation, benefits explanation, company policy explanation, and verification of I-9 and E-Verify documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in HR systems, processing status changes, salary updates, garnishments, terminations, and withholding requests upon notification by the employee.
- Manage employee reimbursements for various company policies, such as gym membership, medical expenses, and safety shoes.
- Participate actively on the Employee Engagement Team.
- Write and update company policies, job descriptions, and other HR-related procedures.
- Execute miscellaneous special projects and reports as assigned.
- Stay current with local, state, and federal HR laws, legislation, and trends, ensuring compliance with each.
- Perform other HR duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in Human Resources.
- Prior payroll experience is preferred.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Able to see projects through conclusion and implementation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS is a plus.
