Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate/Office Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and administrative support and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers as they arrive at the front desk.
- Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel and taking messages when necessary.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and electronic documents.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, typing, and maintaining records.
- Assist with administrative tasks including correspondence, reports, and other documentation as needed.
- Assist with other duties in the office and lab as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing files and documentation.
