Join a dynamic team as a Senior Health & Safety Specialist, playing a critical role in ensuring the wellbeing of staff at our client's East Wisconsin Rapids food manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures for food manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across manufacturing facilities.
• Lead and participate in incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action plans are developed and implemented.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for the facility.
• Ensure all employees are familiar with safety regulations and food safety standards.
• Track and report on key safety performance indicators, including injury rates, near misses, and compliance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Health & Safety Certification(s), and/or equivalent combination of qualifications and health & safety experience.
• Professional certification, such as CSP, ASP, or accredited Health and Safety Certification, is required or in process.
• 5 years of Health & Safety experience.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
