Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and be proficient in various accounting software. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage administrative tasks, support the team, and maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and supply management.
  • Oversee accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate recording of transactions.
  • Perform double-entry bookkeeping and maintain the general ledger to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Conduct account analysis and prepare reports for management review.
  • Reconcile financial statements and assist with audits as needed.
  • Utilize accounting software (Quickbooks) for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all financial activities.
  • Provide support to staff by addressing inquiries related to office procedures or accounting matters.

Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks
  • Strong understanding of debits, credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry.
  • Experience in public accounting is a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for account analysis.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $22.48 - $26.00 per hour
