Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Irvine, CA. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the accounting department by processing invoices, payments, and receipts, and assisting with the management of customer accounts.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of accounting or finance experience, experience with ERP systems (preferred), strong Excel skills, and a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (or related field).

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all invoices, payments, and receipts are entered into the ERP system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with the maintenance of vendor and customer accounts, including reconciliations, account analysis, and issue resolution.
• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management, including cash forecasts, aged payables and receivables, and other ad hoc reports as requested.
• Assist with month-end close activities as needed.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (or related field) preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
