Schedule: Hybrid (8am-5pm Monday-Friday)
Type: contract to hire
Location: Vancouver, WA
Hourly- $60K to 64K upon hire
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring a seamless IT experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person.
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
· Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
· Assist with user account management, password resets, and access control.
· Document issues, solutions, and escalate complex problems as needed.
· Educate end-users on best practices and IT policies.
· Support IT team with projects and system upgrades as required.
Qualifications:
· 3 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
· Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
· Experience troubleshooting common IT issues, including hardware and software problems.
· Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· CompTIA A , ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus.
