Coordinates, prepares and facilitates internal and external training activities for employees and contractors of the agency. The individual will be able to effectively work in a team environment that includes Human Resources and Program Managers to establish and maintain effective agency staff development program. Responsibilities include but not limited to : Conduct approved and required trainings for agency staff.Locate and reserve training space both within the agency and in the community.Schedule all orientation and renewal trainers and external trainers.Prepare training materials.Create annual agency wide training calendar.Work with managers to create PowerPoint presentations.Create, collect, organize and file all sign in sheets from trainings.Review with manager’s curriculum assignments, trainings and attendance tracking into the Relias ELearning system.Apply for CEU’s for relevant trainings.Maintain evaluation materials for trainer ratings.Complete all necessary paperwork, invoices, purchase orders and other fiscal tracking.File all training skills and test out sheets.Hours : Position is full time and includes the following : 3.2 weeks of Paid Time Off during the first yearMedical, vision, dental and life insurance403(b) employee contributions & employer match9 Agency-paid holidaysEducation / Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of training experience in the human services field required. In lieu of degree, instructor certification in Agency required trainings, with training experience for a minimum of 3 years. Certifications in CPR / First Aid and crisis intervention / prevention as an instructor.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Computer proficiency in typing, PowerPoint and Excel. Employee must possess a valid driver’s license and if duties require driving, be able to drive an agency owned vehicle.Must be able to walk, run, lift, push, pull and bend. Must be able to drive an automobile. Cognitive, verbal and manual skills necessary. Hearing and visual acuity necessary; corrective devices are acceptable. Must be able to work under required deadlines and schedules, while being flexible to special requests and projects.
