As the Executive Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations. This dynamic and challenging position demands a proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Position Number: S77600

This position is a Grade: 8 - 37.5 with an approximate salary range of $43,290-$51,960 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a wide variety of projects in support of both the VP and Executive Director of VP Operations. Projects could range from relatively short follow up initiatives stemming from meetings to multi-layered and relatively long live projects involving operational planning and execution.
  • Prepare letters, a portion or all of which may be composed by the Executive Secretary.
  • Maintain the Vice President's calendar, including scheduling, rescheduling and prioritizing as needed.
  • Assist in communication and scheduling of three annual meetings of the committee.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Associates Degree preferred
  • Three to five years of related work experience
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
