Leominster Access Television (LTV) is looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team as our new full-time Production Coordinator. This position comes with full benefits including health and dental, retirement with match, paid holidays & paid time off.
Job Overview: The production coordinator works as a member of the LTV team, and reports directly to the Executive Director. The Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and organizing in-studio & field productions, and coordinates with staff on productions to be broadcast on our three Public, Education, and Government channels as well as our media on demand library. This position also requires working with the members and volunteers and doing community outreach. Part of this role includes filming some local Government night meetings. The perfect candidate will be able to work a 40 hour a week works schedule with some nights and weekends occasionally.
Essential Job Functions:
· Program the Education and Government Channels using TelVue playback software.
· Run the LTV social media accounts to send out videos, content, and LTV related information to the city.
· Provide guidance and instruction to members and volunteers in the use of the production equipment for local programming needs.
· Help organize local outreach programs from LTV, this means working with other local groups and organizations to create content. This may also mean
· Assist staff with projects, filming, and live/live-to-tape in-studio productions.
· Ability to film and edit quickly for a same day or one day turn around.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
· Pre-production work for productions including creating graphics (opening titles, lower 3rds, full screen and overlays.)
· Assisting the technical coordinator and programming coordinator on projects, as needed.
· Collaborate with the staff, Executive Director, and members on creating new content and shows.
· Using Adobe creative suite for editing, photoshop, and graphics.
· The Executive Director may assign other duties and responsibilities and reserves the right to waive the essential requirements contained in this job description.
