Granite State Gaming & Hospitality is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Poker Dealers, and we offer Training. This program provides a unique opportunity to develop the skills necessary for a successful career as a Poker Dealer and work for an amazing company.
The training program lasts approximately six weeks and includes classroom instruction and hands-on practice. Trainees must pass all required evaluations to successfully complete the program. Upon completion, participants may be transferred to the position of Poker Dealer, subject to performance standards and business needs. Failure to meet the training requirements will result in discontinuation from the program. This is a paid training position.
Position Overview:
Poker Dealers (in training) are responsible for efficiently learning assigned poker games, accurately handling chips and cards, managing bets and payouts, and ensuring a lively and enjoyable gaming atmosphere for players. Poker dealers (in training) will also be required to learn general knowledge of casino standards and operating procedures.
- Employment after training is not guaranteed. Candidates must pass interview, math exam, and live audition to gain employment.

Physical Requirements:

- Frequent reaching and leaning.
- Physically access the entire casino with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain composure under pressure.
- Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
