What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Analyst position at Lincotek Medical?
ABOUT THE JOB To direct the activities of supply chain management, purchase order management, inventory management and domestic and international logistics.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tracks performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- Maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory.
- Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
- Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
- Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
- Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
None
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing in manufacturing organization
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Extensive Deep understanding of manufacturing process flow and the importance of all aspects of ERP (production, purchasing and inventory).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to identify and resolve process issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint

- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.
TRAVEL
Occasional overseas and domestic travel may be required to support the rapid growth of the company.
