As a Staff Accountant on the Finance & Accounting team at LINK, you will be responsible for assisting the month-end close process, reconcile bank statements, post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts. You will have an opportunity to assist with check runs and help maintain records for the construction draw process, maintaining vendor records for compliance, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting for annual operating budget.

What You'll Do

Manage deposits and bank statement reconciliations

Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts

Assist with the month-end close processes by preparing consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from other departments

Assist in the check run process

Assist with construction draw process

Assist in maintaining vendor record compliance with W-9 and Certificates of Insurance

Contribute to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections

Maintain documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits

Oversee accounts payables exception reporting and handles vendor payments

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Meet required weekly and/or monthly reporting deadlines

Respond to information requests and assisting with audits

Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax reporting

Provide additional support to other departments as needed
About You
-
Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred, high school degree or equivalent required

Proficiency in Google Suite applications

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
-
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and strong time management and organizational skills

Strong customer service skills
-
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
