Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of federal, state, local, and international tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Manage the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions under [GAAP/IFRS].
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position while ensuring compliance.
- Advise on the tax implications of business decisions, acquisitions, and international operations.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
- Lead the company’s response to tax audits and inquiries, minimizing risks and exposure.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing tax team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the department.
- Partner with finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure alignment on tax-related matters.
- Present tax strategies and compliance updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement enhancements in tax reporting processes and systems.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or JD preferred).
- CPA required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in tax compliance and planning, including leadership roles.
- Expertise in corporate tax regulations, international tax, and transfer pricing.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools (e.g., OneSource, SAP, Oracle).
- Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international tax laws.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of successfully managing tax audits and regulatory interactions.
