What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Low Voltage Technician position at LVD Concepts?
Established low voltage company that specializes in the commercial installation of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, Voice/Data, A/V, Fiber Optics, and Fire Alarm Systems installations looking to add an Installation Technician to our team.
Our ideal candidate should possess:
- Excellent communication skills and demeanor
- Experience in the installation of some form of commercial low voltage -- CCTV, Fire, Burg, Access Control, Fiber and/or Data
- Professional appearance
- Experience using hand and power tools
- A background in some type of construction
- Not afraid of heights
- Flexibility with work times and locations. (Occasional travel and shift work is required)
- Good work ethic, willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team setting and independently
- Punctuality
- Basic computer skills
- Dependable vehicle to get to the job sites (company-provided vehicle is offered after training is complete)
