POSITION SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will be a professional and well-versed problem solver who is a critical thinker and loves to work with numbers daily. Accounting experience and significant payroll experience is required. The candidate is searching for a strong team cultured office that is fast paced and evolving with advanced technology to streamline systems and processes.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll, including allocating and approving weekly hours, data entry and reconciling payroll reports
  • Implement new payroll system switching from a weekly task to a daily task
  • Integrate and implement electronic dispatching system into payroll process
  • Oversee and manage payroll department
  • Process Daily Tickets; collect, mark, data entry, organize/disperse
  • Spreadsheets; create/add based on daily aggregate tickets
  • Assist accounting department with billing/ invoicing clients as needed
  • Receptionist duties as needed
  • Adhere to and enforce all safety standards
  • Participate in and promote the safety culture
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient computer skills; working with various software, websites and programs
  • Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, Google Docs, Microsoft Team 365
  • Must be comfortable and great with numbers – basic math
  • Able to communicate across various forums including email, phone, text, messaging, fax and snail mail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment under pressure/deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Follow instructions given both orally or in writing
  • Ability to work independently, with accuracy and in accordance with company safety and quality standards
  • Ability to communicate in English with other employees for the purpose of hazard recognition, problem solving, or other purposes

Physical Demands

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
