Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks related to lawn care, garden upkeep, and hardscape installation, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are beautiful and well-maintained.

Duties

• Perform routine lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain a neat appearance.
• Execute landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance garden aesthetics.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Irrigate plants and lawns appropriately to promote healthy growth.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues such as pests or diseases.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment.
• Proficiency in lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
• Experience with gardening principles including plant selection and care.
• Ability to perform mowing tasks efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Familiarity with hardscape installation processes and materials.
• Competence in maintaining irrigation systems for optimal water distribution.
• Skilled in using hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Year round work

• Brewer, ME 04412: Relocate before starting work (Required)
