Summary

The Resident Services Coordinator is a face person for our property management team and ensures that the overall quality of our resident’s experience meets the company’s established standards and complies with all applicable laws. 

Essential Functions 

  • Consistently demonstrates commitment to company mission and core values of Integrity, Excellence, Care & Respect and Vitality.
  • Adheres to all Mack Property Management employee policies, Code of Conduct and applicable rules, laws, regulations or bargaining agreements.
  • The Resident Service Coordinator is responsible for providing effective customer service to all prospective tenants, current tenants, and property staff by utilizing in-depth knowledge of the property and its functions.
  • This position is also responsible for assisting property staff with the planning and implementation of resident activities and promoting a quality living experience for all residents.
  • Coordinates all resident functions and activities including orienting residents to the property, as well as assists with utility set-up and deliverance of packages and package claim reminders.
  • Fosters resident retention through exceptional day to day resident interactions via in-person, phone call/voicemail and email communication to encourage positive online reputation reviews.
  • Takes ownership of resident concerns with solutions-oriented and caring attention while seeking Manager support in a timely manner.
  • Performs any and all duties of a Leasing Coordinator as needed to the benefit of the property.

Qualifications & Education

  • High school diploma required. College degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Property management software experience in Yardi. products to include Experience with internet marketing tools preferred.
  • Understand building safety.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm and positivity.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates professional maturity, tact and crisis/escalation management skills.
  • Independent thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational, time management and administrative abilities.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills in supporting team in performing job duties.

Compensation, Benefits and Requirements

 

Hourly for this position is highly competitive and commensurate with experience. The compensation structure includes an hourly base, paid bi-weekly. This is a full-time, NON-EXEMPT position requiring 40 hours per work week. MPM offers a well-rounded benefits package, including health, disability, life, and 401k retirement.
