Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.
Head (Director) of Benefits
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, a commercial-stage biopharma company, seeks an experienced and strategic Director of Benefits to lead their benefits programs. This role reports to the VP of Total Rewards and HR Operations. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive benefits strategy that supports our workforce and aligns with the company’s overall goals. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure our benefits offerings are competitive and compliant and enhance employee experience.
Position Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a forward-thinking benefits strategy that aligns with business objectives and promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Program Management : Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other perks.
- Vendor Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with benefits providers and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery and optimal plan performance.
- Market Analysis : Conduct regular market research and benchmarking to keep our benefits offerings competitive and aligned with industry trends.
- Compliance Oversight : Ensure all benefits programs comply with country, federal, state, and local regulations; stay informed about changes in laws affecting employee benefits.
- Employee Communication : Develop clear and engaging communication materials to inform employees about their benefits options and help them understand the value of their total rewards.
- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the benefits team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
