How You’ll Make an Impact as a Technical Support Analyst
The purpose of the Technical Support Analyst is to resolve user issues/inquiries quickly, courteously, and accurately. This role is responsible for analyzing issues and determining the most expedient course of resolution using available reference material or escalate issues to other members within the team.
Making an Impact:
· Provide technical assistance to users through phone, chat, and portal submission, to include resetting passwords, resolving network connectivity issues, diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues with equipment, and furnishing support for standard software and hardware.
· Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and devices
· Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
· Assist in setting up accounts for new users
· Repair and replace equipment as necessary
· Provides technical oversite to all Network equipment in HQ and provides technical oversight during large, hosted events and ManpowerGroup Headquarters
· Network equipment inventory management in HQ. Co-ordinates receive/dispatch network equipment across all branches in NA.
· Co-ordinate with ISPs in case of any outages / issues in HQ.
· Provision / de-provision Telco links at branches in NA.
Sharing Expertise:
· Improve existing capabilities by evaluating objectives and specifications, reviewing proposed changes and making recommendations
· Provide training to Event Coordinators on existing technology and operational of all major video conferencing systems and network interconnects.
Gaining Exposure:
· Support the rollout of new applications.
Your Typical Day:
· Actively listen to user problems or questions they have and use instruction manuals with technical knowledge to solve user technical issues
· Log issues and update those records with resolution details so the solution can be most efficiently replicated
· Work with offshore network operations team for troubleshooting of any network related issues.
· Provide hands and feet support for any network related issues in HQ.
Qualifications - External
What you’ll bring with you
AKA candidate requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in an IT Related Field or equivalent work experience
· 2 years’ customer service experience in a helpdesk environment
We are also looking for individuals with these capabilities:
· Knowledge of ITSM tool - Service Now
· Scripting Knowledge preferably Python
