Hiring Pay Range: $20.50 - $26.25 hourlyFull Range: $20.50 - $32.00 hourly
Salary is based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. A higher wage would only be offered based on direct court-related or legal experience (i.e. such as that with a law firm). Additional questions regarding pay can be discussed with HR during the hiring process if you are offered a position.
This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours over 40 in the designated workweek.

Take the lead and become our Court Operations Specialist Senior!
As a Court Operations Specialist Senior, you'll be responsible for all administrative and clerical duties related to creating, processing, and retaining records related to Regional Court Centers (RCC)/Early Disposition Center (EDC) functions. You'll also provide the public, legal community, Courts, County, and other governmental agencies with access to the judicial system and other related public records and information. As a critical team member, you will also be cross-trained as a Grand Jury and Criminal Operations Specialist Senior.
This position will be working within our Early Disposition Court Division. It has the opportunity for a flexible/hybrid schedule after training has been completed.

We Require
Three years of progressively responsible legal, court, justice system, or administrative support-related experience
High School Diploma or GED
Post-secondary education may substitute for up to two years of the required experience
Job Contributions
Receive and process a high quantity of documents and public records from the general public, internal and external customers, legal community, and/or other governmental agencies. As well as processes and/or issues confidential documents including jail releases, warrants, indictments, and orders
Enter and retrieve data from automated case management tracking system; assign applicable codes, cross reference documents for future retrieval, access documents by using various indices; follow established procedures for updating and purging records
Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes to work methods and procedures that increase efficiency
Accept fees, process payments and perform calculations; close out cash drawers and prepare reports; establish payment plans within guidelines
Perform necessary account research and maintenance making complex adjustments and calculating account balances as required
Respond to customer inquiries both in person and via the telephone providing the highest level of service possible
Review, file, and process new complaints, petitions, exhibits, post-decrees, and subsequent documents, set hearings and generate minute entries
Perform Special Commissioner, Probate Registrar, and/or Notary functions as necessary
Working Conditions
Mostly office setting in high volume, fast-paced environment, with extended periods of sitting while completing computer activities
Consistent Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedules; teleworking based on business needs and supervisor approval
Ability to lift boxes to 20 pounds and carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds a distance of 500 feet
