Role

The Valet Operations Director is the head coach, crafting seamless operations and displaying sincere leadership for our team at Maroon City Valet. In this role, you’ll orchestrate valet operations, spark leadership in others, and build the rock solid infrastructure that fuels genuine, consistent service. You’ll be the driver of team development, coaching our team of Texas A&M students to run like a finely tuned machine to foster genuine service, drive culture, and deliver an innovative valet experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for everything from leading team meetings, scheduling success, implementing company initiatives, hands-on training, hiring, and property and equipment.

Responsibilities

As the Valet Operations Director, you will:

  • Develop and maintain detailed scheduling outlines for holidays and Texas A&M Events
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss progress, provide feedback, and address challenges
  • Provide daily coaching with our team at each of venue
  • Work with leadership team to submit requests for vendor or equipment orders, as well as help with documentation (saving receipts and memos for finance) for these orders
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring and training new teammates who hold our core values and culture for all operational valet roles
  • Lead preparation of weekly and monthly reports and slide decks to run weekly Team Leader meetings as well as monthly reviews.
  • Available outside of business hours and on-call, as needed
  • Lead a team of Team Leaders to facilitate consistent team performance
  • Act as a mentor to Team Leaders, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement automations and consolidated SOPs to improve workflows and reduce manual tasks
  • Create and maintain team schedules to appropriately support service quality and labor costs
  • Maintain practices for general cleanliness property maintenance
  • Consistently utilize company operational materials and resources

Results

  • 4 star monthly ratings in Maroon City Valet secret shopper reports
  • New team members are consistently, successfully onboarded, contributing to company success quickly
  • Company operational materials and resources are utilized consistently
  • All team meetings are properly prepared for accurate reports and time is used efficiently.
  • Weekly and quarterly metrics reports are consolidated and distributed to team for strategic decision making
  • Consolidated SOPs that reduce complexity and improve team alignment.
  • Team composition reflects Maroon City Valet’s core values
  • Company equipment and property are maintained and immaculate
  • Successfully implement strategies to meet monthly growth targets
  • Properly preparing for and efficiently managing high-volume event weekends

Requirements

  • Successful track record
  • 2 years of previous leadership experience
  • Embodies Maroon City Valet’s values- genuine character, relentless effort, sincere service
  • Pleasant, polite manner with exceptional grooming and professional appearance
  • Willingness to work days/nights/weekends/holidays as required
  • Confident leading a team of 20-40 team members
  • Proactive, solution oriented mindset
  • Track record of being a strategic planner to develop and implement comprehensive plans and achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Punctual and dependable with reliable transportation
  • Astute eye for cleanliness and organization
  • Proficiency in Google Drive Suite, timekeeping software
  • Fit physical shape with ability to work outside for extensive periods of times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,257.00 - $81,771.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Holidays
  • Weekends as needed
