We are in search of an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team here at Marshall USA! The role will report to the Head of Hunman Resources and have functional alignment to the parent company’s global HR team (HR Business Partner, Benefits, Recruitment). On a regular basis, the HRBP will collaborate with the company’s Operational mobilisation team within the MRO Business Line, as well as other members of the Senior Leadership Team.
The role should be a Senior HR Generalist with experience in Compensation and Benefits, Employment Regulations, and Talent Acquisition, able to provide a balanced view towards establishing a highly effective aerospace company which values its employees, inspires retention, delivers to financial goals, and is deeply aligned with its customers. Experience of working in a startup environment would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have experience in starting up new organizations, and preferably will have experience in one or several of the following industries: Aerospace, Defense, Technology, Manufacturing, Aircraft Maintenance. Familiarity with the local Greensboro, North Carolina job market is desired. The consultant must be flexible to work across US East Coast and United Kingdom time zones.

Your responsibilities in this role:
- Work with the team to define Salary and Benefits standards which are fully compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations, and are competitive in the market.
- Develop the Marshall USA HR employee Processes and Procedures as need to comply with local laws and norms, but always in compliance and aligned to the Marshall Group policies.
- Work with the team to define and communicate a comprehensive Employee Value Proposition which will include career development, training programs, community relationships, and partnerships with local industry peers.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition professional in developing a nation-wide recruiting strategy which connects with separating military members, veterans, students, and competitors.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition professional in developing an onboarding program.
- Work with the Head of HR NORAM Head of Operations USA to define the operational HR business as usual set up once the site is operational.
- Collaborate with the Marshall Head of HR and Head of Operations USA and the global HR team to ensure compliance with parent company processes as they are tailored for the USA market.
- Futureproof any set up processes and practices to ensure Marshall USA can be a competitive employer in these markets.
- Deliver on performance, accountability, and customer outcomes.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10 years of HR experience, with a focus on business partnering in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Experience with HR analytics tools to manage training and educational programs for technical roles and an understanding of US funding reporting requirements for technical training
- Broad experience in Talent Acquisition, Career Development, Benefits, Employment laws and regulations, Compensation Standards, and Defining the company’s Value Proposition for Employees.
- A Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI).
- Experience in the local Piedmont Triad, Greensboro, NC Aerospace-Defence industry, aircraft maintenance and manufacturing industries, or other technical services or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience building an HR capability within a start-up company environment.
