The Facilities Department at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) invites applications for a two full-time Maintainers. The Maintainer is responsible for performing janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, grounds keeping or maintenance tasks for the routine maintenance of the buildings and grounds of the campus, i.e., clean offices, rest rooms, corridors, move furniture; organize and maintain appropriate supply of cleaning materials; make general repairs of simple nature using various hand tools; shovels snow, sands roadways or walkways; performs other manual tasks involved with snow removal, control and disposal.
Job Requirements:
High School education/GED preferred
The ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Physical ability to withstand the strain of performing manual duties; mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Ability to work tactfully with various constitutes
Additional Information:
These are full-time, benefited positions in the AFSCME bargaining unit, paying $1,420.92 bi-weekly. Both openings are Monday-Friday 1:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
