Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and other payables.
Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, and ACH payments.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies.
Assist in month-end closing by ensuring all expenses are properly recorded.
Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
