JOB SUMMARY
The Outside Sales position is responsible for sales and associated duties that will increase the number of jobs sold. Outside Sales must optimize customer service experiences in the first meeting, during installation, and after jobs are completed. You will work as part of a team and collaborate with commercial roofing team and commercial production members to deliver the best experience for customers from job start to finish.
To succeed in this position, you must be able to maximize every sales opportunity, present roofing estimates professionally and accurately.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Maximizes every opportunity with selling every lead mindset.
- Exceeds personal sales targets while demonstrating a solid customer focus.
- Develops and maintains key client relationships.
- Works on special projects and contributes to team effort.
- Participates in company, industry events, and conferences.
- Develops a strong product knowledge, as well as customer service knowledge.

- Required Marketing and Networking Event participation.
- Provide a daily summary to the Sales Manager.
- Provides detailed pictures of every job.
- Team and 1 on 1 Meetings with Sales Manager.
- Works with the estimating and production team to oversee job profitability. Generates leads through networking, referrals, calls and other means.
- Required to prospect for new leads through networking, cold calling, emails, and phone calls

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The majority of the Outside Sales’ work will be done in the field. Outside Sales will be exposed to varying temperatures ranging from heat 90 degrees plus, to cold weather which could include temperatures in the teens, and rainy conditions. The Outside Sales must be able to lift/move up to 100 pounds frequently and may perform tasks requiring climbing, crawling, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, gripping and moving safely over uneven surfaces. Outside Sales are expected to safely climb ladders reaching up to 60 ft while carrying up to 30 pounds and wear personal protective gear correctly.
