We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be proficient in various accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain client billing information with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in preparing and sending invoices to clients.
- Support the accounting department with daily administrative tasks.
- Assist with the reconciliation of accounts and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Handle data entry and ensure records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and account issues.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
