SUMMARY
The Clerk role in the Warehouse and Inventory will be responsible for implementing and maintaining control
procedures as directed, including outreach, applicant management, tracking staffing, managing applicant /
employee concerns and manage effective and positive communications with all levels of management to ensure
staffing of all openings. This role reports directly to the Supervisor or Manager. There are Clerk positions on all
shifts, to include weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates as an active member of the Human Resource team which is ultimately responsible for driving a
culture of change that adheres to Company values.
Administers company policies, as outlined in the employee handbook, and consults with Manager regarding
any interpretations and revisions.
Must be or able to become forklift certified as a driver.
Maintain a pallet count, material usage and label inventory.
Verify that all production reports and give production support as requested.
Must be able to create work orders and track placement of products.
Communicate well with all levels of management.
Must be able to learn product codes numbers, row inventory levels, and inventory process.
Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
1-3 years’ experience in warehousing and/or inventory control.
Experience with the trucking industry, including dealing with truck drivers.
Working knowledge and experience working in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Publisher and Access experience a plus.
Knowledge and up to date training in a warehousing environment.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to overall strategy and direction of the Company and to
make well informed decisions.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as federal and state laws, legal documents, safety rules,
operating and procedure manuals.
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

Strong basic math skills.
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and tasks with frequent interruptions while maintaining
flexibility and composure.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram
form.
